Hello! I got an invite code from [personal profile] itachitachi, so here I am~ <3

Today was interesting.

I woke up at 5 to finish my essay that I thought was due today (well, yesterday), but was so asleep I just gave up and went back to bed. Then I woke up an hour later to find that I was covered in an itchy red rash. I went to school anyways, because I figured I had been bitten by a bug that flew in yesterday when I had my window open (since it was SUNNY and WARM. WHY, WEATHER, WHY.), but it got so annoying that I called my mum and had her take me home.

I ended up going to the hospital, where they said I may be allergic to the sesame oil my mum used to cook last night's tofu stir-fry, either that or a new laundry detergent or a bug. Anyway, they gave me a super-strong antihistamine and I conked out for two hours, then went back to school for the last half of the day and MASQUE PLAYERS! :D

So I'm in Masque Players, which is my school's drama club. This year we decided to put together a showcase of little scenes and monologues to present to the Upper School, and we've been practising for months and months and today was the performance. It went great! I was in a little scene called "It's a Breeze" which is about how men have it so easy because they're young, white, straight, and male (I go to an all-girls school, which made it hilarious), as well as a really funny piece called "Fate Dates the Weatherman" where another girl and I talked about how life has it's ups and downs, and I got to go completely apeshit crazy for this one line. GOOD TIMES. I also did a little monologue from Scrubs.
[Unknown site tag]coloredxcrayons was in it too, and she did an amazing job with her two monologues, the little curtain warmer from the theatre class, and playing Ted the gay waiter in "Choice of Vegetable," where everyone sat at a table and ordered things like a nasty divorce with huge alimony payments, a bitchy ex-wife, a heart attack, and a sense of fashion. It was SO FUN. Everyone loved it.

[Unknown site tag]sandwich14, I'm not talking to you. I'm so pissed at you right now, I can hardly speak. What the fuck.
